Racked.com has announced that the Accessories Council of Excellence has named House of Harlow 1960 designer Nicole Ritchie “Influencer of the Year”
We have featured House of Harlow 1960 many times this past year on the blog and I even own a few pieces. The cool thing about Nicole is she wears what she designs – in other words she’s not selling you a false dream which we appreciate around here at FCS! So once again congratulations Nicole, well deserved!
Kelly Horton's Shoe Design/Project Accessory
Kelly took the walk of shame last night on Project Accessory and her shoe design sent her packing. While execution was shoddy, perhaps with a bit more time on the clock, this could have had a more fashionably acceptable outcome.

Accessory Addicts Speak Up! Project Accessory is on tonight at 10pm ET—we’ll be watching and we know you will be too! So from one jewelry lover to another….tell us which designer you’re rooting for and who should be getting the boot this week—Pun intended! It’s a bit early to pick out faves but while all of the designers created glam out of garbage, we may have our eyes on a few. I’m hoping to see something adorably outrageous in ear-bling… Let’s watch!

Kimora Lee Simmons has done it! You know that we LOVE cuffs and this set is a MUST have and the price is ridiculous for both. Just Fab, get over there with a quickness because I don’t think this set is going to last!
One of us has been recovering from some surgery and part of the recovery entails getting her backside back in the gym – so why when I left the gym after a great workout this morning was it SNOWING?! Not just light cute flakes that melt when they hit the ground, but WET, HEAVY, GONNA ACCUMULATE type flakes! REALLY?! Since I was in Florida for 2 weeks having my surgery I was NOT ready for this….AT ALL!!!
In any case, let us begin with gloves to keep our digits warm….with a bit of an animal print twist of course. Let us know what you think.

Part II of our tribute to those big, bold cuffs! Use a cuff to dress up a simple turtleneck sweater, or a cardigan, or as an adornment for a plain blouse. The point is the cuff can punch up staid look immediately!!
As you know we LOVE accessories here at FCS. That being reaffirmed, we thought it would be a great idea to start to sharing some of our own personal items.
So first up, I had a wedding this past weekend and needed a pair of shoes – FAST! So I took a gamble, because personally I just can’t take the mall – mainly because the mall nearest to me has the worst parking situation!!! I digress – so decided to pay a visit to my local DSW to try my luck….I went for one pair and came home with two:
So this pair was the wedding pair I found to wear with a black lace knee length dress. these are Betsey Johnson’s.
Was at a wedding this past weekend, when a fellow guest and I both discovered our mutual love of cuffs! The bigger and bolder the better!

As we pointed out the other day, animal prints are going NOWHERE! So to that end anything you purchase this season…trust me in 3 seasons or less it’ll be back so it’s worth the investment at any price!
